Meet Weslea O’Connor, Chief Operating Officer of Saxon MD Facial Plastic Surgery. Weslea brings a people-focused leadership style centered on building up staff and creating genuine, meaningful connections with patients.
Shivani began her nursing career in labor and delivery, spending over four years caring for patients during vulnerable, transformative moments. This experience shaped her compassionate, patient-centered approach. She holds degrees from Duke University and Baylor University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University, strengthening her clinical expertise and view of aesthetics as an extension of healthcare.
She trained directly under Dr. Sarah Saxon in facial aesthetics and skin rejuvenation, including Sciton technologies such as BBL HEROic™ and HALO® laser resurfacing, as well as botulinum toxin injections with a focus on facial anatomy, dosing, and natural results. She also completed advanced training in neurotoxins and neuromodulators through Texas Laser & Aesthetics Academy.
Her clinical focus includes HALO® laser resurfacing for texture and rejuvenation, BBL HEROic™ for sun damage, redness, and pigmentation, Morpheus8 for collagen stimulation and tightening, and neuromodulators to restore balance while preserving natural expression. Each treatment plan is customized to support long-term skin health and subtle, refined results.
Shivani’s philosophy centers on enhancement, not alteration. She tailors each plan based on facial structure, skin health, lifestyle, and long-term goals, prioritizing balanced results grounded in anatomy rather than trends.
Outside of the clinic, Shivani has a lifelong background in dance and performed with the Kilgore College Rangerettes, including the Cotton Bowl, Dallas Cowboys halftime shows, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ireland. These experiences instilled discipline, precision, and confidence that carry into her clinical work. She maintains an active lifestyle through Pilates, yoga, running, and strength training, and values time with family.
Wendee was driven to return to a high-energy, people-focused environment, so she pursued a role in aesthetics and intentionally sought out the best in the field, ultimately earning her place at Saxon MD.
Wendee finds the most fulfillment in building relationships, getting to know patients and their stories, supporting them through both med-spa services and surgical journeys, and helping them feel confident by aligning how they look with how they feel.
Outside of the clinic, Wendee enjoys staying active with pickleball, being involved in her church, and practicing diamond art painting. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of four daughters, and her favorite role is “ZeeZee” to her 10 grandchildren, often traveling along I-35 to DFW to spend time with the nine who live there.
Hallie is certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Medical Administrative Assistant, allowing her to support both the medical and concierge sides of the practice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas State University, where she was also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Her academic background and clinical training reflect her commitment to excellence and continued growth in medical aesthetics.
Growing up in a family of service members inspired Hallie’s passion for medicine and helping others. Through volunteer work in children’s hospitals, operating rooms, and nonprofit organizations, she developed a compassionate, intentional approach to patient care.
Known for her attention to detail and warm, composed presence, Hallie is dedicated to creating a smooth, comfortable, and personalized experience for every patient. She believes every interaction is an opportunity to connect and help others in meaningful ways. Outside of the office, Hallie enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog Tux, listening to live music, being outdoors, and relaxing by the water.
Maria enjoys collaborating closely with her coworkers to deliver efficient, compassionate, and high-quality patient care. She is dedicated to creating a positive experience for every patient while supporting the team with professionalism and care.
Outside of work, Maria is very family-oriented and enjoys staying active and participating in local community and wellness events, helping her maintain a balanced and patient-focused approach both inside and outside the clinic.
Often the first friendly face patients see, she is dedicated to making each visit comfortable, organized, and stress-free. She supports both the clinical and administrative teams by coordinating schedules, assisting with patient communication, and maintaining the high standards of care the practice is known for.
Alyssa has a growing interest in aesthetics and facial plastic surgery and enjoys learning about treatments, procedures, and the patient journey from consultation through recovery. Her approachable nature and commitment to service help patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their experience.
Outside of the office, Alyssa stays active by walking her poodle, weightlifting, and practicing Pilates and yoga. She also enjoys traveling with friends, staying current on skincare and wellness trends, and expressing her creativity through thrifting, upcycling clothing, and sewing.
Before joining aesthetic medicine, Weslea built a diverse career rooted in communication and luxury service. She began in the country music industry as a radio DJ at WBEE in Rochester, NY, quickly advancing from night shifts to middays and eventually becoming Assistant Program Director. She later moved to Nashville to work in radio promotions for Republic Records. She then spent a decade in luxury real estate in the Texas Hill Country, working with the Clausen Group at Realty Austin and later Compass with The Veritas Group.
Weslea first connected with Dr. Saxon when she relocated to Austin to establish Saxon MD. Their professional relationship grew into a strong friendship built on trust, eventually leading Dr. Saxon to invite her to join the practice as COO. Since then, she has played a key role in the growth of Saxon MD, including the launch of the flagship Dripping Springs office in 2024.
Outside of work, Weslea enjoys spending time with her husband and French Bulldog, working out, reading, and blogging.
