Case 1
This patient is an 18-year-old woman who wanted a nose job for her high school graduation. She didn’t like the bump on her dorsum or her droopy tip. She also pointed out that she didn’t like the hanging columella she had which worsened when she smiled or talked. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are only 1 month after surgery. Swelling will continue to go down, and she should see more refinement of her tip over time.
Case 2
This is a 37-year-old woman who wanted a rhinoplasty because she didn’t like how wide her dorsum was or her wide nostrils. She wanted less of an ethnic nose appearance with more refinement of the tip. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are 9 months after her surgery, and she is loving her results!
Case 3
This patient is a 15-year-old girl who had been self-conscious about her nose her whole life. She wanted to still look natural but didn’t like how wide her nasal bridge and tip were. We discussed prior to surgery that her tip skin was fairly thick which would affect how refined the tip could be. These rhinoplasty before and after results are 7 months after surgery, so she will continue to see changes over the rest of the year. She is already happy with her results! At 15, she is safe to undergo rhinoplasty. Patients younger than 15 generally only have nose surgery to correct functional problems.
Case 4
This patient is a 60-year-old woman who wanted a rhinoplasty because she felt like she had her dad’s nose which made her look too masculine. She didn’t like her droopy tip and overall how big it was. She thinks she may have broken it in the past but not sure. She also had trouble breathing out the left side of her nose. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are about a year after her surgery. Given the degree of deprojection, she will take up to 2 years to see her final results. She has had some steroid injections in her nose for thickened scar tissue. She is breathing normally now other than occasional allergies and loves her new nose!
Case 5
This patient is a 23-year-old woman who had rhinoplasty and brow bone reduction. She wanted her nose to be smaller and smoother. She has some asymmetry of her face overall, so our goal was to get her nose as symmetric as possible as well. These results are 9 months after her surgery, and she loves her results. She will still see some additional refinement over time.
Case 6
This is a 20-year-old gentleman who wanted a rhinoplasty his whole life. He was made fun of as a child because of his nose. He wanted to smooth out the bump on his nose and reduce the overall size. He also had difficulty breathing all the time, so a septoplasty with functional rhinoplasty was done at the same time as his aesthetic changes.
He had Ehlers Danlos syndrome which can cause prolonged healing and increased risk of bleeding, so packing was used at the time of his procedure to control bleeding even though Dr. Saxon doesn’t usually use packing or splints. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are 1 year after his surgery. He loves his results and breathing normally out of his nose other than occasional allergies.

This patient is a 61-year-old woman who had a rhinoplasty as well as brow lift and facelift for overall facial rejuvenation. For her nose, she didn’t like the hooked appearance she had as well as how far it came out from her face. She wanted her nose to look a lot smaller overall. These results are 1 year after her surgery, and she loves how different her nose looks!
Case 8
This is a 31-year-old woman who mainly wanted a functional rhinoplasty to help her breathing but also had a few areas she wanted to refine on the outside. She wanted a smooth aesthetic line from her nasal bridge to her tip instead of the hourglass appearance she had prior to surgery. She also wanted to tip slightly refined and lifted. In addition, the only way she could breathe was to push her tip inward. This simulated deprojecting the tip.
During her rhinoplasty, her tip was deprojected, septum straightened, and cartilage grafts added to help her breathing. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are only 1 month after her surgery since she moved out of the country shortly after that. Despite being so early, she is excited with her results since they look very natural, and is already breathing better than ever!
Case 9
This is a 33-year-old woman who had been unhappy with her nose most of her life. This didn’t like how wide her nasal tip looked in photos and felt like her nostrils flared out when she smiled. An open rhinoplasty approach was used to deproject and rotate the tip up. An alar base reduction was done as well to narrow her nostrils. These rhinoplasty before and after results are 1 year after her surgery, and she is feeling more confident than ever!
Case 10
This patient is a 30-year-old woman who never liked her profile because of her nose. She said that she didn’t want her nose to be something that she constantly thought about her whole life, so it was time to do something about it. An open rhinoplasty approach was used to reduce the bump on her nasal bridge and give more support to her tip. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are 4 months after surgery since she moved out of the country shortly thereafter. She is very excited about her results and now feels confident about her profile!
Case 11
This patient is a 40-year-old woman who wanted a rhinoplasty to smooth the transition between her nasal bridge and tip as well as refine the tip. She had previous septoplasty and balloon sinuplasty to try to breathe better but still had problems on the left side. An ear cartilage graft was needed to give support to the tip of her nose, and a revision septoplasty was done at the same time as her rhinoplasty. She can now breathe better, and her migraines have improved. These rhinoplasty before and after photos are 1 year after surgery, and she is looking and feeling great!
Case 12
This is a 38-year-old woman who desired a rhinoplasty to fix a saddle nose deformity. She had a prior septoplasty and sinus surgery that left her nose without structural support. A rib graft was used to rebuild her nasal bridge, and her tip was refined to appear less boxy. These rhinoplasty before and after results are after 1 year. She will continue to heal further since revision surgery generally takes longer to see final results. Even now, she is so happy to have her new nose and gets compliments all the time!
Case 13
This patient is a 31-year-old woman who wanted to make her nose much smaller while still looking natural. An open rhinoplasty approach was used to deproject and refine the tip as well as reduce the large dorsal hump. Deprojecting her tip allowed her nostrils to be less tall and thin, which also helped her breathing. This degree of deprojecting the nose requires much longer to heal fully since the skin has to shrink around a new, much smaller, framework. She will still see further refinement over time.
Case 14
This patient is an 18-year-old gentlemen who wanted a rhinoplasty to change the shape of his nose. He wanted to smooth out the bump on his dorsum and narrow the tip. He also thought that his nostrils were too wide. An open rhinoplasty approach was used to rotate the tip up and narrow it, as well as smooth out the nasal bridge. His nostrils were then narrowed with an alar base reduction. These rhinoplasty before and after results are at 1 year, and he loves the way his new nose looks.
Case 15
This is a 29-year-old woman who wanted a rhinoplasty to straighten and refine her nose. She broke her nose in cheerleading when she was in high school which made her nose crooked. She wanted to fix that as well as lift and deproject her tip. She felt that her tip pointed downward when she smiled or talked. An open rhinoplasty approach was used to give more support to her tip as well as straighten the bridge of her nose.
