Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty Before and After
Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a highly effective procedure designed to enhance the appearance of the eyes by addressing concerns like droopy eyelids, under-eye bags, and sagging skin. It’s a popular choice for both men and women looking to achieve a more youthful, refreshed, and vibrant appearance.
Blepharoplasty can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Upper blepharoplasty focuses on removing excess skin and sometimes fat from the upper eyelids, which can help correct a heavy, tired appearance or even improve vision in cases where drooping skin obstructs sight. On the other hand, lower blepharoplasty targets puffiness and under-eye bags caused by fat deposits or lax skin, smoothing the area for a rejuvenated look.

Case 1
This patient is a 61-year-old woman who started noticing volume loss and extra skin around the cheeks and under the eyes. She had several other procedures in the past, such as a facelift, Sculptra, and skin treatments. Despite that, she wanted further improvement around her eyes. She was not interested in any surgeries that she would need to go to sleep for. We decided that a combination of a skin pinch lower blepharoplasty, fat injection in her cheeks and tear trough, and Morpheus8 in the office under local anesthesia would give some benefit with minimal downtime. These blepharoplasty before and after photos showcase how small changes can lead to big benefits!
Case 2
This is a 51-year-old woman who noticed that she was looking more tired on video conference calls. She desired an upper and lower blepharoplasty to refresh her overall appearance. Skin excision was done on her upper eyelids, and the lower eyelids were addressed with a combination of fat reduction, a skin pinch excision, lateral canthal tighening, and Morpheus8. These blepharoplasty before and after photos are 1 month after her procedure, and she is looking and feeling great!
Case 3
This is a 65-year old woman who had an upper and lower blepharoplasty as a part of her full face rejuvenation. In addition to excess skin of the eyelids, her brows were very low, which contributed to drooping of her upper eyelids. A brow lift was done to address this. Her cheeks and lower eyelids were also treated with fat injection to the tear trough, cheek implants, and Morpheus8 to improve texture and thickness of the skin. Her eyes are much more open now, and she looks radiant!
Case 4
This patient is a 60-year-old woman who was bothered by excess skin on her upper eyelids. We also talked about her brows sitting a little low, so she was also a good candidate for a brow lift. She wasn’t ready for anything that would require general anesthesia, so she just had an upper blepharoplasty under local anesthesia in the office. These blepharoplasty before and after photos are only 1 month after her treatment. Her incisions have healed beautifully, and she is very happy with her natural results.
Case 5
This patient is a 50-year-old woman who had upper and lower blepharoplasty in addition to a number of other procedures, including brow lift, fat injection, and facelift. She also continues to do regular skin treatments to improve overall skin texture and tone. These blepharoplasty before and after photos showcase how well the incisions heal from this procedure.
Case 6
This patient is a 35-year-old woman who didn’t like how hooded her upper eyelids looked. She wanted to look more rested and refreshed. An upper blepharoplasty was done under local anesthesia in the office. These results are 4 months after her procedure, and she is happy with how much more open her eyes look.
Case 7
This is a 43-year-old woman who was noticing just a little bit of extra skin on her upper eyelids, which made applying makeup more cumbersome. A skin-only upper blepharoplasty was done in the office under local anesthesia. These blepharoplasty before and after photos are 1 month after her procedure, and her incision is already almost invisible!
