EmbraceRF 1
Am I a good candidate for EmbraceRF
EmbraceRF is an ideal treatment option for non-smoking men and women in generally good health who would like to achieve a sculpted and lifted appearance in the face, jawline, and the area below the chin without surgical treatment. The best candidates for EmbraceRF have mild to moderate skin laxity and fullness along the jawline. However, patients with severe skin laxity and neck bands may be better candidates for a facelift.
What is EmbraceRF?
EmbraceRF combines both FaceTite technology and Morpheus8 to provide second to none skin tightening results that are above and beyond any one single modality treatment. You can expect results as close to facelift-like results as possible without having to go under the knife. The results are permanent with a dramatically shorter downtime compared to surgery. It is a perfect treatment for anyone starting in their early 30s and onward who desire a more contoured jawline.
Up to 40% skin contraction observed in clinical studies
Leaves no visible scars
Requires only local anesthesia or light sedation
15 – 60 minutes per treatment area
Minimal downtime
Less bruising, swelling, and pain
What is the EmbraceRF procedure like?
EmbraceRF can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Sometimes patients like to have additional medication such as Valium as well to calm the nerves before their treatment.
We also offer Nitronox for any procedure done at Saxon MD. Nitronox is a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide – otherwise known as “laughing gas.” Anyone taking Valium will need to arrange for a ride home, but patients can drive home after Nitronox. After Dr. Saxon marks the areas on the neck and lower face to be treated, the area is numbed with a diluted local anesthetic. After that, 5 entry points are made with a small needle in order to insert the FaceTite device.
Each section of the neck and lower face is then treated to reach a preset temperature to tighten while minimizing risks of burns or damage to the skin. The machine continually monitors the temperatures throughout the procedure for optimal safety. Once the lower face is treated with Facetite, the entire face and neck is treated with Morpheus8 to further tighten the skin and improve fine lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface.

EmbraceRF Results
After the treatment, a compressive dressing is placed around the chin to give support while you heal. This is kept on continually for 48-72 hours and can be removed during the day for an additional 1-2 weeks. It is best to keep the wrap on at night during this time to reduce swelling.
Radiofrequency microneedling can cause the skin to be dry and sensitive during healing, so moisturizers and sunscreen are recommended during that time. Although there is always a risk of bruising with any procedure, most patients do not experience this after EmbraceRF since the device closes off any blood vessels with radiofrequency energy preventing bruising.
In addition, most patients do not require any pain medication other than Tylenol. We do a lot of our EmbraceRF procedures in Thursday since most feel fine to go back to work the following Monday. Even though many are happy with their results after only 1 week, the skin will continue to tighten over the course of 6 months. Some changes can even be seen after 1 year. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
Your results….
Your EmbraceRF results are permanent and as close as you can get to the effects of a surgical facelift without the downtime. Though the aging process will inevitably continue, the fat removed from the submental area cannot return.

Make Your Eyes Look Open & Youthful
What is a Brow Lift?
A Brow Lift Corrects:
- Sagging or lowered eyebrows
- Hooded appearance of eyes
- Age-related brow descent
- Genetic predisposition to lower brows
- Reduced eye openness due to brow position
What is the Ideal Eyebrow Position for Women and Men?
The ideal eyebrow position varies between men and women, and Dr. Saxon considers those differences while curating a personalized brow lift plan. For women, the optimal position is where the brow sits above the brow bone, giving a youthful and lifted appearance. A brow lift can make the eyes look larger, which helps feminize the face. As a facial feminization expert, Dr. Saxon examines the eyes carefully and assesses the structures that make the eyes appear smaller, including the brow position and addresses them individually.
In contrast, the ideal position for men is at the level of the brow bone, offering a more masculine look. As a man ages, the brows lower below the level of the brow bone, often creating functional problems like visual field deficits. Because of this, a brow lift in men can often be functional. Dr. Saxon examines your facial contours, discusses your goals, and performs the brow lift to the appropriate level specific to your gender.
Types of Brow Lifts
Direct Brow Lift
A direct brow lift means the incision is made within the eyebrow to directly lift it over the brow bone. This is common in men who do not have any hair to hide a scar. Rather than placing the scar on the forehead, the incision is hidden within the hairs of the eyebrow. This approach can be great for those with functional problems related to their low eyebrows.
Mid-Forehead Brow Lift
A mid-forehead lift entails placing the incision within a wrinkle in the forehead in order to lift the brows. In men with thinning hair, an incision for a brow lift can often be better hidden within deep wrinkles in the middle of the forehead compared to the scalp or eyebrow.
Pretrichial Brow Lift
A pretrichial brow lift means that the incision is placed within the hairline. For those with a stable but high hairline, Dr. Saxon will frequently recommend this approach. A pretricheal brow lift allows the brows to be lifted both centrally and laterally, which significantly feminizes the forehead. It is also the best approach to prevent changing the hairline position since other areas of incision can often raise the hairline slightly. It is also the best approach for those who also want to have hairline lowering (forehead reduction) at the same time.
Coronal Brow Lift
A coronal brow lift involves making an incision at the top of the head hidden within the hair. Although it still means making a large incision, it generally heals very well and is undetectable. Much like a pretricheal brow lift, a coronal brow lift raises the entire length of the brows to make the eyes look larger. In order to have a coronal brow lift, the hairline must be in a normal or low position, since the hairline can be slightly raised with this approach.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
An endoscopic brow lift means making small incisions in the scalp to introduce a camera into the forehead. This allows structures like nerves, muscles, and blood vessels to be safe while allowing smaller incisions in the scalp. Endoscopic brow lifts often necessitate fixation devices like endotines, screws, or permanent sutures underneath the skin to maintain the ideal brow position.
Temporal Brow Lift
A temporal brow lift can be done if only minimal brow lifting is needed. Small incisions are made on either side of the hairline to lift the lateral aspects of the brows. The central portion of the brow does not change in a temporal brow lift. This procedure can be done under local anesthesia in the office with minimal downtime.
Dr. Saxon’s
Unique Brow Lift Approach
Dr. Saxon takes a personalized approach to the brow lift procedure, meticulously planning the incision based on individual characteristics. The incision can be made at various locations, including right at the eyebrow for older individuals or those who are bald, within a forehead wrinkle, or along the hairline. This ensures minimal visible scarring and natural-looking results. She may even lower a high hairline while raising the brows. This ensures results that enhance your natural beauty while minimizing signs of surgery.

The Recovery Process After A Brow Lift
During the initial recovery period, you may experience numbness in the forehead and scalp area due to the stretching and pulling of nerves during the surgery. Minor swelling and bruising can occur around the eyes, which typically go away in about 7-10 days. Most do not experience significant pain after a brow lift. Tylenol or ibuprofen is typically all that is needed to help with any discomfort. Take it easy for a few days and follow Dr. Saxon’s postoperative instructions to ensure smooth healing. Over several weeks or months, the sensation will gradually return to the affected areas. The procedure will result in lifted eyebrows, making your eyes look more prominent and alert. Dr. Saxon’s careful incisions ensure that most people don’t realize you’ve undergone surgery.
