Elevate Your Neck Profile with Sutures

MyEllevate neck lift is a minimally invasive procedure that addresses the signs of aging in the neck and jawline. This technique involves inserting specialized sutures beneath the skin to lift and tighten loose tissue. The permanent sutures are the same as those used in surgical procedures and provide structural lift to the muscles and soft tissue under the jawline for long-lasting results. With minimal downtime and natural-looking results, MyEllevate offers a more youthful and rejuvenated neck profile without the risks and recovery period associated with traditional surgical neck lifts.

How MyEllevate Neck Lift Works

MyEllevate uses an innovative ICLED light-guided suture system to improve overall neck contours. Dr. Saxon administers local anesthesia and inserts specialized sutures with light-emitting diodes beneath the skin, carefully positioning them to divide the vertical muscle bands as well as lift and tighten sagging tissues. MyEllevate is often combined with Facetite to both remodel the skin and provide structural support for low-hanging muscles and soft tissue to give a more defined and slim jawline. The MyEllevate procedure doesn’t involve incisions, and the entire procedure concludes within an hour.

A traditional neck lift is performed as an outpatient surgery under local or general anesthesia. This involves small incisions made behind the ears and possibly under the chin. The surgeon tightens neck muscles, adjusts underlying tissues, and removes excess skin to restore a smoother, firmer neck appearance. Furthermore, the downtime after a traditional neck lift ranges from one to two weeks, and residual bruising and tightness can last several months.

The MyEllevate treatment is minimally invasive and involves minimal downtime. It doesn’t require large incisions or skin removal, making it less invasive than a traditional neck lift. It’s performed under local anesthesia, takes about an hour, and offers natural-looking results. Furthermore, patients usually experience a quicker healing process with minimal bruising and swelling — most patients resume daily activities within a week.

The Recovery Process

During the initial days of your recovery, you can expect mild swelling, bruising, and discomfort around the treatment area. These side effects are normal and usually subside within a week or two. We will give you a soft neck brace to limit bending the neck as much as possible in the first week. You can resume light activities within a few days, but strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should be avoided for a few weeks. As your body heals and swelling subsides, you’ll notice an improvement in the tightness and contour of your neck and jawline.

MyEllevate Neck Lift FAQs

What is the main advantage of MyEllevate neck lift over traditional neck lift surgery?
MyEllevate is minimally invasive, requires smaller incisions, and offers shorter downtime than traditional surgical neck lifts. This means less scarring and a quicker recovery.
The procedure takes around 45 minutes to an hour, although the exact duration may vary depending on individual circumstances.
While the results of a MyEllevate neck lift are long-lasting, they are not entirely permanent as the aging process continues. However, many patients enjoy results that last several years.

MyEllevate is suitable for individuals who have mild to moderate sagging in the neck and jawline. It may not be appropriate for those with severe skin laxity or those seeking more extensive rejuvenation.

Most patients can resume light activities and regular routines within a few days. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should be avoided for a few weeks post-procedure.
As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks, including infection, bruising, or asymmetry. However, these risks are generally low, and Dr. Saxon will provide aftercare guidelines to ensure optimal safety.
You will notice some immediate improvements after the procedure, but the full results typically become apparent over several weeks and months as swelling subsides.
