Facial Plastic Surgery, Right Here in Dripping Springs and the Hill Country

Choosing a facial plastic surgeon is about much more than finding the closest office. It’s about finding someone whose experience, philosophy, and results give you confidence that you’re making the right decision. At Saxon MD Facial Plastic Surgery, our practice is dedicated exclusively to surgery of the face, and it sits right here in the Hill Country, just off Highway 290 between Dripping Springs and Belterra.

For neighbors in Dripping Springs, that means the kind of care people used to drive into Austin for is now a short trip down the highway. No downtown traffic, no parking garages, and no full day lost to a single appointment.

A Dripping Springs Practice, by a Dripping Springs Resident

I did not start out in the Hill Country. When I first opened Saxon MD Facial Plastic Surgery, our office was located in a beautifully restored mid-century medical building on Nueces Street in downtown Austin. Originally constructed in the 1950s for one of Austin’s pioneering gynecologists, it had been thoughtfully restored decades later while preserving its original architectural character. The interiors were designed by renowned designer, Jeanne Schultz, and it became one of the most unique places to establish a practice focused on facial plastic surgery. It served us well during those early years.

In 2020, I moved to Dripping Springs, and fell in love with the community almost immediately. Living in the Hill Country gave me a different perspective on what I wanted the patient experience to feel like. The pace was more relaxed, the scenery was beautiful, and there was a genuine sense of community that reminded me why so many people are choosing to make this area home.

Around the same time, it became clear that we had outgrown our downtown office. Rather than simply finding a larger space, I wanted to build a flagship practice in the place I already called home.

When I found our current building near Belterra, minutes from downtown Dripping Springs, I knew it was the right place.

We relocated the practice in 2024, creating a space that allows us to continue expanding while maintaining the personalized experience our patients expect. It means a great deal to me that the neighbors I see at the grocery store, at school pickup, and out on the trails can be cared for by a surgeon who lives in their own community.

Minutes from Downtown Dripping Springs, Off Highway 290

One of the first things patients from the city say is, “I thought you were much farther away.” For anyone in Dripping Springs, the opposite is true. We are right here.

Our office sits directly off Highway 290, with complimentary parking and a calm, unhurried arrival experience. For most Dripping Springs residents, the drive is shorter than a trip across town would be in Austin.

Typical drive times include:

  • Dripping Springs: approximately 10-15 minutes
  • Driftwood: approximately 15 minutes
  • Bee Cave: approximately 15 minutes
  • South Austin: approximately 15-20 minutes
  • Lakeway: approximately 20 minutes
  • Buda: approximately 25 minutes
  • Downtown Austin: approximately 25-30 minutes
  • Wimberley: approximately 30 minutes
  • Kyle: approximately 30 minutes
  • San Marcos: approximately 35 minutes
  • Johnson City: approximately 35 minutes
  • Marble Falls: approximately 45 minutes
  • Fredericksburg: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes
  • San Antonio: approximately 1 hour 15-30 minutes

Instead of navigating downtown streets and parking garages, patients arrive in a peaceful Hill Country setting designed to make every visit feel comfortable from the moment they pull into the parking lot.

Trusted by Patients Across the Hill Country

Our office serves patients from throughout the Hill Country, Central Texas, and well beyond it. On any given day, our waiting room may include a neighbor from Dripping Springs, someone driving over from Wimberley, a family from Fredericksburg, and a patient who has flown in from another state for surgery.

Patients routinely visit us from Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Belterra, Wimberley, Bee Cave, Lakeway, West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls, Blanco, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Liberty Hill, and San Antonio. Many others travel from Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and across the United States.

The reason is simple. Facial plastic surgery is not something most people choose based solely on geography. For many patients, traveling an extra hour, or even boarding a plane, is a small investment when compared to the importance of selecting the surgeon whose experience and aesthetic philosophy best align with their goals. If you live in Dripping Springs, you do not have to make that trade at all.

A Practice Focused Exclusively on the Face

Unlike many plastic surgery practices that divide their attention between cosmetic surgery of the face and body, Saxon MD is dedicated exclusively to facial plastic surgery. This focused approach allows us to continually refine the techniques we use every day while providing highly individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s anatomy and goals.

Patients come to our Hill Country office for a wide range of facial procedures, including:

We also perform hairline lowering, facial fat transfer, brow bone reduction, orbital rim contouring, and facial balancing procedures.

Over the years, I have become particularly known for combining deep plane facelift techniques with comprehensive forehead rejuvenation to create results that appear balanced, natural, and harmonious rather than simply tighter.

More Than a Consultation

I want every visit to feel like more than another appointment.

Our location places patients at the gateway to the Texas Hill Country, surrounded by some of the area’s best restaurants, local boutiques, wineries, breweries, and outdoor destinations. Many patients enjoy lunch in Belterra Village, spend the afternoon exploring downtown Dripping Springs, or make a weekend out of their consultation before heading home.

For those traveling from farther away, the Hill Country offers a rare combination of excellent dining, live music just down the road in Austin, comfortable accommodations, and outdoor recreation, making it easy to pair exceptional medical care with a genuinely enjoyable trip.
