Meet Dr. Saxon
About
Dr. Saxon then joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where she taught residents and offered the full spectrum of both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the face including facial trauma at Parkland Memorial Hospital, correction of congenital defects at Children’s Medical Center, as well as functional and aesthetic procedures at UT Southwestern.
Dr. Saxon transitioned her practice to Austin in 2017 where she founded her surgical practice and medical spa. She is now one of the nation’s few experts in facial feminization surgery, using craniofacial and soft tissue techniques to create a more youthful and feminine appearance. Surgeons from across the country seek her expertise in teaching her advanced techniques in hairline lowering and forehead surgery, and she is routinely asked to give lectures and participate in panel discussions at national meetings. Dr. Saxon never stops learning and growing as a surgeon. Because of this, she continues to learn from pioneers in facial plastic surgery such as Dr. Mike Nayak in his extended deep plane facelift techniques. No matter how big or small the procedure, she focuses on delivering the very best results for her patients and improving confidence with as little downtime as possible.
The practice quickly outgrew her small downtown Austin office. Because of this, Dr. Saxon has now moved her south office to a brand new, larger space in Southwest Austin which will also soon house a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. Her north satellite office in Dallas also opened several years ago and cares for patients from the DFW area, North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and North Louisiana. Regardless of where patients are from, Saxon MD sets the standard in personalized care to deliver an exceptional experience.
