Preparing for Your Consultation

Patient Resources

Welcome to Saxon MD! We're excited to meet you and discuss your goals. To ensure a smooth consultation experience, please follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Download the Symplast App

You will receive a notification to download the Symplast Patient App. It is very important that this app is downloaded since this is where we will be sharing information with you including procedure quotes, consents, and photos. It is also a secure place for us to correspond with you during your recovery. For any virtual appointments, this platform is where it will be conducted.

You will be emailed a link to provide your medical history including current medical problems, past surgeries, current medications, etc. This is VERY important since this will help Dr. Saxon determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure you are interested in or not.

Please have all your forms completed by the day prior to your appointment.

Please take photos in front of a plain background. For example, use a plain-colored wall or plain-colored sheet (white or blue is preferable) hung on a wall with as even lighting as is possible. It is best if you have someone take the photos for you, and it is very important that the camera be level with your face. No selfies and no makeup or filters please. Keep the camera angle straight forward. Do not angle down or up, as this will also create an unnatural position/view of the facial features.

Photos should be taken from top/crown of head to just below the neck with collar bones visible. Facial features should be relaxed. No smiling or frowning, just a relaxed natural position. Keep jaw line in a relaxed natural position; do not try to push jaw out or “pose” as this will only obscure your natural jaw line. Be as relaxed as possible for the best photo outcome.

A total of 5 images/views are needed: 1 front shot, 2 quarter turn shots, 2 side views.

Photos can be sent to us through the media tab in your Symplast App. If you are having trouble with this, you can also email them to concierge@saxonmd.com and we can upload them into your chart.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about submitting your photos. We look forward to seeing you!

Go to www.saxonmd.com to learn more about the procedures you are interested in and see before and after photos. Be sure to click on the video on the page specific to the procedure(s) you are interested in as they contain useful information including details about the procedure, recovery, and downtime.

You can also follow us on instagram @saxonmd where we post before and after photos and educational content regarding treatments. The story highlights (little blue circles) have additional procedure-specific before and after photos for each procedure.

Have 2-3 dates ready that will work with your schedule for your surgery. Surgeries are typically scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about submitting your photos. We look forward to seeing you!
